Roger Albrigtsen bor i Lakselv i Finnmark.
The author lives in Lakselv, Finnmark. (Norway)
He was born in Harstad (close to Narvik) (born 1971) and spent some of his childhood playing in the remains of German bunkers in the fjord where the German battleship Tirpitz was sheltered for a time.
The interest for WWII stories, and especially the untold ones..., has formed the authors interests throughout the past years.
Rogers grandfather was both an agent, courier and saboteur from June 1940 till May 8th 1945.
The unique photos found and the fact that his grandfather never said anything about his missions and work during WWII led Roger to the start of a project just ment to be a story on his grandfathers life.
The author ended up describing a secret mission in a neutral country!
His grandfather said, in 1945 at the end of an interview with an allied officer, "It could have been written a whole book" - these words inspired the author to go on with his project.
Rogers grandfather was born in 1913 and passed away in 1989...
